We went over budget again, and decided to use solid rocker arm shafts for the extra measure of safety they provide, especially on an engine that has higher-revving capabilities than a stock unit. Once Jason had them shimmed correctly and assembled, we were ready to proceed with setting up the rocker arm geometry.
